Abstract (english)
We have very little information about Patrizi’s emotional life. In our paper, we will shed more light on his relation towards two women: Tarquinia Molza and Irene di Spilimbergo. By analysing Patrizi's works, (third volume of Discussiones peripateticae, L'amorosa filosofia and two sonnets dedicated to Irene di Spilimbergo), we will show what kind of relationship he had with Molza and di Spilimbergo in particular, what motivated him to write about and to them. We intend to bring a little more light into Patrizi's emotional life as well as to discuss his general attitude towards women.
